Team Fortress 2 because it's a timeless classic and is still fun to this day. Yes it's not as alive as it was back in the day, and some people consider it to be "dead", but it's still enjoyable, just don't be playing it everyday because you might get tired.

World of Warcraft but the classic(vanilla) one.Reasons: large scale enviroment,economy, pve,pvp, developing friendships between players
Unfortunately,the actual wow killed the old one, it is a failure.That's why I stopped playing it.
But in august the wow will raise, like a phoenix for the ashes.

Half-Life 1, 2 and every addon of the series (I even grateful for crappy Blue Shift). I don't how, why but this old thing is so god damn engaging. I like it's lore, the characters, the pseudo science story, the atmosphere. And I've never seen anything that captivating like this in any game.
