I was using 1.7.10 for years, because most mods were made for this version, but I started switching to 1.12.2, some old good mods started appearing on this version.

I use 1.14.3 for vanilla as my friend usually used that for his vanilla servers, as for modding/modpacks (which I use more than vanilla) I go with 1.12.2 or sometimes 1.7.10 as those two versions support a load of mods.

I use the latest version because I like to explore the new features; However you can't go wrong with 1.8.9!~

1.14.3 the latest one like i always do some things are pretty laggy on older servers even if they support latest

I play on the bleeding edge.
Latest snapshot for Java
Beta for Bedrock

That way I get the newest experience.

My favorite version of minecraft is 1.5.2 because there are no new updates because I dont like them! Old Maincraft is the best!

I play on 1.12.2, it's great. The newer versions have so much problems like lag. I don't use custom modpacks, I just play on servers.
