If i were you i'd gi with champion that you enjoy playing but you still perform decently.

yeah lux is definatly an easy champion to play and shes still really good in the comp scene.

Honestly just pick something you enjoy, unless winning is more important than having fun to you. In which case the meta changes constantly so you'll just have to stay on top of the changes and maybe swap characters every so often.

Hecarim is the best champs to main, i OTP him since season 4 and i think it's very easy to climb to diamond with it and to handle it !
