best addons for a server

You definetly need to focus on UI. Scoreboards, menus and inventory is where I would start.

Less addons = less lag = more players = more staying players

and just some regular printers or something.

Darkrp has a formula, you can add all the addons you want but it doesnt mean you will get players but if you have no unique addons then you can be sure you will not get players. Theres a zone in between where you have the copy paste darkrp format but with some cool features to enhance the gameplay for darkrp. You dont want them to be too complex but too simple then you literally have every other darkrp server.

Unique models help, good permission like ULX
then look around online for custom addons that sound like it'd be a fun addition.

M9K guns, ULX, Handcuffs, and just, do some yours addons, learn lua man.

ULX, because you must have it too Ban Player, Vote for a Map... etc

I usually go with DarkRP gamemode, Lots of things to do like Raid/Kill people and farm for cash to buy guns etc.
Some DarkRP servers are actually addicting but some are not. Be careful when playing on darkrp servers. some of them have 10 year old staff members which is really hard to deal with XD

Replace everything with DarkRP HUD including talk icon, add ULX & ULiB (you can always buy script that are paid), on most server you will need some handcuffs. Rest really depends on what server you want to create. :cool:
