I smoked lot of weed in the last 20 years. I used to smoke to feel better since i been having Social Anxiety most of my life. I recently stopped because i noticed smoking lot is what gave me anxiety on top a few other triggers.

For lot of people it won't harm them and simply make them feel better on a daily basis. For me it was quite the opposite. I guess if i started to smoke a little here and there it'd be better but i'm someone who's all in in everything i do and don't have middle ground :s

Have lot of good memories from smoking that herb!

Have a great day!

Alcohol kills 2.5 million people a year, tobacco kills 7 million people a year and are both legal drugs. Now, how many people does weed kill every year? 0, nada, zip, none, not a single person!

Weed isn't the horror drug that most people think it is, in fact it's been used by our species for over ten thousand years. Contrary to popular belief weed has very few adverse health affects, and if your over 25 (When your brain and skeletal system finish their development) it becomes virtually harmless to you. Well it doesn't take a genius to realize that in most of Western society (I will use this term to describe mostly Canada and the US) has or had a massive social stigma. So where did this come from?

In Canada weed was banned by accident, the government thought it was an opoid and placed it under a bill along with many other drugs, criminalizing it's usage.

In the U.S. it was ok to smoke weed before the 1930's, but in came a man named Harry J. Anslinger, head of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics, he demonized cannabis sativa, which is known as marijuana today, a word that he made up to make the substance sound more evil. He testified before congress about the horrors of the drug and talked aobut how it made you insane, making you murder and rape. Congress knew he was lying but they approved a bill to ban it anyway because the substance was mostly smoked by Mexicans, who the government wanted to demonize.

I would go on but this post would never end, I'd highly advise you all to do your own research. You'll find out a lot of things, from the $9 billion the U.S. government could make and $11 billion it could save if it made weed legal according to Harvard professor Jeffery Miron and that Steve Jobs, Walt Disney, Stephen DIsney, and Milton Fried all smoked weed.

It's good. Not much else to say. Now that its legalized, more people can get that temporary relief from everything else legally.
