First Anime

my first contact with anime was watching yu-gi-oh! actually. btw i love the card game

Back in the golden age of Toonami it was Dragonball Z. Also Yu Yu Hakusho, Gundam Star, Trigun... good memories.

My first anime was Marco. It is a story of a lost child looking for his mother.

My first anime was Cowboy Bebop, it still holds a special place in my heart. I'm sure it does for a lot of people here too.

Pokemon 1st season. I even remember the first episode I watched. It was the one which Ghastly, Haunter and Gengar appeared for first time.
I remember watching it and tell to myself: I want to play that game

I'm not even sure anymore...

I would say that To Love Ru and Kissxsis was one of the first ones. :dscream:

So technically my first anime would be something like Yugioh, but I don't really think of it as an anime as it was the 4Kids version not the real Japanese one. The one anime I consider the real anime i first watched and get me hooked into anime was Angel Beats. Super sad, super good.
