I'm not sure why but the craziness of it story and the artstyle of dropout really encapsulated me into it. There's some wtf is going on moments in it but they never took me completely out of it.

there is one called sands of time manga which is good
there is a similar one to drop out but i cnt remember what its called
i am hoping they will make a liveaction !!
