How often to do check the internet?

Yep. Addiction is defined as doing something so much that it (hugely and badly) impacts your social life and behavior. It has its good and bad. If the addicted person is using his time to contribute to society, it is good for the society (but might be bad for the person). Social media one of the worst internet addiction. Not sure gaming addiction false under internet addiction since they can be played without internet.

I check it way too often, I really need to find something better to do

There are still people that think that internet addiction does not exist but I think that it is something of this century

Feels like every god damn minute of the day :-)

News, sports, work, email, social media, games, downloads...everything connected to the Internet.

Every waking second of my life

It's annoying how addicting it is.

I am on the interenet pretty much 24/7. Can't go without a week without internet ahah
