League of legends is not dying at all. They just released their new gamemode Teamfight Tactics which reminds me of hearthstone but is decent and strategical.

League of legends is not dying the have one of the highest concurrent player base of any game right now. They have 8 million players logging in and playing throughout the world more than the top 10 games on steam combined on peak times.
