Does it make sense to create a server in 1.7.10?

We think which version of minecraft to choose for a complex of servers, but still doubt whether to take 1.7.10 or go higher? Or do not make a server at all ..

It depends of your needs, If you need to run a cauldron version (Forge + craftBukkit) go with a 1.7.10 but if you no need to use forge mods you can go Higher with paperSpigot . Personnaly I dont like spongeforge it is not very stable in my point of view

if its a type of server for pvp, then yeah go for it. but if you're gonna play vanilla, then maybe go for the latest versions

I don't think so it's just so far behind now I really think you should just use 1.8 and use plugins to fix TNT or other things.

1.17.10 is kinda dead use 1.8-1.14 or 1.12-1.14 the best way in my opinion

Honestly depends on the type of server you want. Not all versions have the same mods and if they do the mechanics might change from version to version. But if its for vanilla i always go with newest version.

I would recommend 1.7.10 or 1.8.8
1.8.8 is very good because a lot of people play on it.
If it is a practice server you should go for 1.7.10
If it's a server with bedwars and stuff you should go for 1.8.8

yea, it depends on what mods you need, higher versions of minecrafts don't have good mods, i would recommend 1.7.10
