How to spawn items randomly across a map? (Food/Water/Weapons/etc.)

As of recently, I decided to get back into Gmod and play around. I've downloaded a few maps with survival in mind, but the main issue that I'm facing is that items don't spawn, meaning if I spawn without weapons, I won't be able to find any to use, making combat one-sided. I've also downloaded a mod with hunger and thirst. Since nothing spawns by default, I'm left to starve or die of thirst.
I'm curious if there's any way to configure a map "easily" to spawn weapons (modded or default) and food/water items across the map randomly, so I'm always expecting something new.
If this isn't possible, then I can always deal with what I've got.

To do this, there is a q button, press it and there will appear a large menu with prop, choose a weapon or entiti from above
