Help a brother

I'm looking for a reddit type of script
and done countless research? I don't want to clone the reddit git.

So does anybody know of any scripts like this.

Im new to such websites but isn't 4chan almost the same? I mean like website based & navigation etc...

So after googling around some stuff, i found out there is 2 similiar to reddit and it's apparently called "Digg" & "Pligg" Im not sure how to actually get it for free, but i will google around a bit more
