Is Minecraft only for kids?

One of the things I hear most when I say that I like to play Minecraft is "This is for kids. You shouldn't play because you are already a grown person." I honestly don't care about those words but sometimes it comes to mind.

What do you guys think about this?

Minecraft is not restricted to kids. Markiplier, 8 Bit Ryan, PewDiePie, Jacksepticeye, literally so many big YouTubers play it. And they are adults.

Hell no, it's not kid game check pewdiepie he is playing he is adult? So you are calling him a kid?

no a lot of people have been revisiting it and if your a dad by any chance itll be a good game to play with your kids as their intro to video games

Minecraft is for everyone. Who says that Minecraft is for a certain age range? Even big youtubers, who are adults, play it.

1.8 was a better update than 1.4 imo so that is why i still play 1.8

definitely not. It's just casual good fun. The idea that minecraft is a kid game is because of the hyper youtubers that tends to draw more kids than adults into watching their video, which makes up a large playerbase.

No, I play minecraft a lot still and I am not a kid. It is really fun with all you can do.

Definitely not! I am over 30 and I play together with a friend who is around my age and we both find the game vast and amazing.

It is not just for kids, Minecraft is about building, exploring a doing anything you can think making it possible."an immersive environment where the onlylimitisyour imagination" one of the Mojang Developers stated. Because a lot of kids play it, does not mean its for kids and you can see many Adults play it online =D
