What kind of music did everyone listen to in the past? my favorites were; Falling in Revers, My Chemical Romance, and Three days grace. Here is a song from Falling in Reverse I still listen to.
Probably not the era you're talking/thinking about, but big band era music (jazz) has really stuck onto me the past few months. You probably won't listen to it but here are a few recommendations. In the past, I was really into Queens of the Stone Age. I still think it's an amazing band, just don't listen to them as often :') Another group I was really into was Gorillaz. I haven't checked any of their newer stuff out though. Even though this is what I listened to in the past, can't say my current music taste looks too different from this.
Presuming you mean old music and not what I used to listen to I would have to say The Doors. I hate most modern music, regardless of the genre so I really enjoy older stuff like The Doors, Cream, Van Halen, The Alan Parsons Project and Genesis.
