When did you guys start playing minecraft?

Personally, I started towards the end of2011.

It was fun times then, small yet amazing community.

I started playing minecraft back on the original 1.0 release. Unfortunately I never played the beta or alpha. Thinking back I woulda loved to experience it

I started playing minecraft when there are a alpha version.
I missed that time...

Probably about 7 years ago. I still remember when it was NOTCH days

is this game worth it? it seems like its for children. but it also seems to be super popular, and i dont know why.

Absolutely not a a kids game. Perfect game to play for a few days, stop playing, and then come back a few months later to repeat.

I bought it when it was still in Alpha in 2010 or 11. Still play it weekly to this day, and is easily one if my most favorite games.

I didnt play much but i started when i was 8 and i played on the Laptop of my mother. I only had 20fps or something like that.
