Where are the cave updates?

This game is great, and I do enjoy the idea of adding Bees, nether upgrades, etc...

But where in the world is the cave updates! Its been the same for so many years, and now at this point mining is such a boring task.

The cave update will come once they've run out of biomes to improve. They know people will come back to play with new caves, so they're saving it. Give it another 5 years.
