Do you think the anime adaptation of this work has succeeded? According to the reviews I heard, the anime is a complete failure, but still I'm still thinking about starting to watch it. Can you advise him or better not even start?
The adaptation is super weird and jumpy. Not that I have problems with anime skipping stuff from LN, but they managed to skip and dodge everything that should've been in the Anime. The first episode did not feel like the first episode at all (It jumped to the fight scene out of nowhere from minute 1).
But if you want something that has a vibe of that shield hero (but worse), that has a pretty OP MC who hardly give a crap about anything,to keep you occupy while waiting for the new season then you should check this out.
i like the anime so far, but it is jumpy indeed, also the main char is like :" i will kill everyone and i dont care about anyone" but when someone appeard he knows ( to not spoil anyone) he was kinda willing to help her out and stuff.

I watched the Anime first, before reading the LN and I must say, the LN is so. much. better. than the anime. There were so many details in the LN that the anime left out, and completely skipped over bits and pieces that would've been crucial.
