Minecraft forge and optifine

Why isforge 1.14.4 not compatable with optifine?
I need optifine for shaders and i cant just use optifine in the launcher because i need mods.

Are you sure you downloaded the right thing, it works fine for me

It is, i think you must've installed it wrong. Try reinstalling it

Use fabric in general, as there are working addons at the moment, well, which are at least without bugs

Try fabric if you need only oprifine, is working well
