In terms of just being able to get sh#t done, nothing beats Windows (in my opinion), but I have a love-hate relationship with all operating systems.
Windows 10 is annoying the hell out of me lately and I'm finding it really buggy compared to Windows 7, which was my all-time favorite version yet... I feel like Microsoft has nothing but 20 year old interns making most of their design decisions these days (look at the mess they've made of Skype for a prime example)
Linux is great but just not reliable enough in terms of a desktop environment, especially between maror version increases. I don't know how many hours of my life I've wasted configuring a linux desktop to my likely, only to have an update completely break everything and lead me back to square one.
And I can't begin to state how much I hate Unity in Ubuntu -- Once that became the default, I switched to using Linux Mint as my go-to distro, but it's starting to seem rather dated to me lately, and I'm thinking about giving Solus a try...
macOS is pretty but pretty annoying to me as a web developer and I find I'm much quicker to get things done on a Windows machine in comparison, by almost ten-fold.
