I'm going to upgrade my pc soon and I was wondering if I should buy a new gpu. Currently, I have a GTX 1060FE.
I wanted to upgrade because I've had my pc for a good 4 years now (I made the mistake of buying Alienware), and I feel that it's time to upgrade.
Any tips? Or should I just keep my 1060 for now?

Your 1060 is pretty solid solution now. But you would better posting of all of your current PC internals, to better analyze if you need to upgrade smth.

i;ve owned a 2070 since day 1 and love it, no issues, high framerates, (I wish more games had ray tracing though)

I'd say it's better to wait for till the next-gen drops. I have a feeling ray tracing is just going to end up being a fancy gimmick that only very few devs will implement (properly) into their games (like with most NVIDIA game tech), at least for this generation.

I am still rocking a GTX 1070 with no issues.

as NideyBoi says, it's better to wait for the next generation, frankly.

i have a 2080 and i wouldn't recommend it for the price to performance, i got it to be an early adopter to the built in ray tracing and im loving it so far

Nah mate you should have gotten the gtx series as they are very cheap right now and the rtx is really used much in new titles unless its a tripple A game even then its still inder develpoped in the gaming industry

I mean they are kinda too expensive. But you can live a year with your 1060, don't you?

I'm not sure anymore. New graphics cards come out all the time, and the older ones get cheaper. So I guess you better wait til the next generation hits the market.
