Trap and Metal and Dubstep = New genre?

I feel like it's all slowly getting closer to each other. Everyday I hear a new dubstep song that is using trap and metal elements or a Metal song using trap and edm elements. They all have a similar tone and structure in general. If you looked at a playlist of all 3 of those genres. I think they all have the same vibe but different grooves. I see more dubstep producers using metal styled logos. I just think it's all going to combine into a good solid genre that people name and take on and make music for. I'm down for it. I love it all and I try to contribute my part as much as I can cause that stuff is so rad! What do you think about this? Do you disagree completely with me?

I feel like it's gonna be as thing for about 6 months to a year and then something new or someone is gonna ruin the whole "genre" . Just my opinion tho.

I feel like it heavily comes down to personal preference on a song to song basis. There are some dubstep songs I really like and some I don't. Same goes for the other two genres. To just limit yourselves to listening to just dubstep or just metal is kinda stupid in my opinion.

Well for me it's Trap and Dubstep i'm not really Metal guy :/

i prefer dubstep but trap is good aswell , i'm not really into metal :(

I think it will of course get combined by some artists but it will slowly fade away unless there is good marketing behind.

ive done some of this but the best ive heard is a band called Igorrr but its pretty dark

Metal is life. Metal is a genre you cannot kill. It's not mainstream anymore like it was in the 80's 90's mid 00's. It seems like each year modern metal sounds like dubstep.

Wow, I would love to see a merge of these three genres. Personally, I am a metal fan, but I see a lot of potential in electronic music.
