Hi! Ready to be pissed off? Alright. So, here it is. I think that the Lord of the Rings is trash, AS A STORY. What I mean is that, while it is absolutely fantastic at building what feels like a fully functioning and lived-in world, the actual story is pretty weak, with the characters being 2-dimensional (Frodo!), boring (Gandalf), or just plain confusing (SAM). Alright, now that I've got my 2 cents in, debate away! I'll be interested to see what you guys think...
