music is usually my go-to, but anytime i tell someone that they usually think the opposite. i guess it just depends on what type of music.

Have you tried a white noise machine? They work really well for me. There are some apps for it too.

Music also works really well for me. Just my usual playlist at a lower volume.

Maybe listening to different noises. Spotify has a lot of them for example rain forest or ocean

Go to an ebook site, you'll find lots of books on sleep.

When you meditate you can fall asleep within 2 minutes, which saves you a lot of time.

Make sure your room isn't too warm (Personally I can't sleep when it is too warm)
Don't wear a rope or socks (Depends on the person but it effects me)
Find a comfy position
Read a book until you're tired if you can't sleep
I've heard some people say playing some music helps them sleep (Haven't really tried it myself but it might work)

to add to that:
Stay away from blue light emitting devices(phones, tv's, monitors etc)
Keep a schedule(read about Circadian Rhythm)
A glass of wine might help, though should only be a glass
Don't stress yourself physically before bed

If they are very funny and help to bring calm and a good atmosphere sometimes I spend hours watching many videos of memes

Stay off your phone and try to bore yourself to sleep. Mental stimulation isnt great for sleeping.
