Is the Battle Royale genre dying?

No its not dyng ,ppl got tierd of no inovation and no content .

I hope so, i want co-op games with story - not some kid smashing his pc because he was 2nd place

well, I think the players are just very scattered, so isn't dying

It was fun when it came out in 2016-2017 but now i dont think it will last much. I personally dont like much battle-royale genre.

Pubg is dying from few months, i prefer fortnite for better optimalization

Yeah its dying out, its oversaturated and people are sick of seeing it. You can only play something over and over again until it gets stale and boring.
