FPS problems in rust

So I am running a rig that has a gtx 1070 and an i7 6700k should I be having Fps problems?

look up a video on optimizing your settings? Also dont mean to insult your intelligence, but that game is and has always been poorly optimized sometimes it just takes a few console commands

With the update that came out a couple of weeks ago (for the ps4 port) I got really screwed. I used to run it fine on by gtx 1050 but now get less than 40 fps.

and how about your ram? if its 8gb then you should think about upgrading to 10 or above.
