If you like found footage and more towards b-rate/possible real life situation I'd suggest Hate Crime. It's banned on most mainstream platforms so I'd look it up on effedupmovies.

If you can access some of the oldies, Evil Dead 2 is pretty awesome.

Wrong direction series are one of the best, a lot of scary scenes.

There's been some good movies released this year, i would recommend ''The haunt'' and ''Hereditary'', there's always classic like ''The shinning'' that are worth trying too. My favorite platforms are popcorntime and leonflix, you should check them out.

Idk if someone recommended them already but you need to watch Hereditary and midsommar

IT Movie was pretty scary. However, I've heard (i haven't been able to see it, not a Horror fan) that Nun is one of the scariest movies ever. Honestly, any movie from James Wan in the Horror genre is scary.
