what is going to happen with the universe? expand to infinity? crash on its oen mass?

Really depends on how you look at it. I myself like the Big bang or Expanding universe theory by Edwin Hubble. He "discovered" the universe is for ever-expanding and that everything was made from the big bang.

The universe and space in general are trippy as hell. Wonder if we ever gonna find out crazy stuff, what is possible.

I find it super interesting how the mathematics behind quantum mechanics and string theory check out, but we still don't know how to connect them to space-time and gravity, Perhaps in our lifetimes that connection will happen.
