My website of choice to purchase PCs from is: https://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/ - They have amazing prices and tonnes of configuration. Personally i have ordered 2 computers from them (1 is being delivered right now) and never had any problems.

Anyone know a decent PC build for a max range of around $1k that can decently handle todays games
Checking PCPartPicker.com builds for ~$1000 is a great starting point.

The team at originpc.com are the best, I have one friend who baught from them a gaming laptop, it's awesome... he had 1 issue with it, they reached out to him quickly and fixed it.

Ive had problems with cyberpowerpc before as they sent me the computer with a broken water reservoir for cooling and it lead to a leak of the coolant which damaged some parts and after i just built a PC on my own and it actually came out cheaper so that was a bad experience

You could grep a better cpu, like a new ryzen 7 and/or a better gpu like the 5600xt / 5700xt
