i can't say that it can increase it although it is very good to have one only because of the smooth picture that helps you to react rapidly

Well, it doesn't. Nothing really does. It really can help with your reaction time and with making you're aiming smoother, but you still have to learn the same way. You could imagine it like buying a new mouse/keyboard etc.

like what everyone said above: doesn't improve your skill but helps with gameplay if you're playing at a competitive level. frames wont feel as skippy and can help with your precision. just practice in deathmatch to improve your skill

As has been said before, the difference between 144hz and 240hz is minimal. You pretty much lose a lot of color quality and resolution when you go for a 240hz monitor, it will look dull in comparison to other monitors; however, it will be extremely smooth. If you value having a responsive screen more than anything else, then I suggest going for 240hz. If you care about how a display looks and you still want smooth game-play, go for a 140hz high quality monitor.

I have 144 and if you using so long you can understand instantly difference if you look, other 60 Hz monitors

i'm play on 144 hz, and i felt a big difference between 60hz and 144hz. 144 hz it's perfectly
