I doubt it, but I do hope so.

They moved around the development team to focus on Rust. They really have no need to focus on this project with how much money Garry's Mod and Rust has made them.

I think Garry is switching the whole s&box team to Source 2.

Garrys mod i one of those games were it maintains itself. Maybe in the future we might see 2.0. but dont count on it
