This isn't exactly true. Although they can automate it the account is in low trust factor and will be playing with cheaters. The automated accounts won't affect normal CSGO play.

its really simple rule

more players = more money

because it was a dying game and they needed more ppl to play

Game was dying, decided to attract more players but dont forget they still have cases for their money :blobthink: :money: :kekdog:

Mainly to gain more money and keep the player base high, CSGO was slowly declining in numbers so they needed to encourage more people to come into the scene and get involved, which in turn makes them more money, whether that's watching Majors or buying cases

valve did it because the game already was dying and now they gain new players that may buy skins in future

To distinguish players who do not cheat with cheats.
They sort of grouped.

They already got cs:go versions non-steam, so they realize they can get more people using their platform instead ripping the game.

They have already made a bunch of money already though :D
