PC What do you think about Half life Alyx ?

I have just finished the game ! And I really loved the new feeling of half life ! With less run n gun but more puzzle stuff, more atmospheric environments!

And you what did you think about Half life Alyx !

I really really loved it. The writing, soundtrack and gameplay were super halflife-like but still kept innovating. I really loved getting better at the gunplay and learning to reload as fast as possible.

it looks like a pioneer on maisntream vr gaming, and i want to play it REALLY BADLY, but its sad VR is really overpriced.

Yes, i do like it. Sadly i dont have VR headset to play it, so i watch gameplay on youtube. Too bad that the ending is Half Life: 3 trailer. Waiting for a mod which will allow me to play this without VR :(

I don't think you have a good experience playing without the VR, Valve said they are not going to port to PC,and i agree.It would not be any close to the real experience. If someone would make a custom mod about it i think would be just bad.
I would wait to the tech get cheaper, i think this will happen in the future.

Great game. Its so cool. So details in graphics. Valve did a lot work, and a lot, uhm, things on a game and its so COOL .

Once VR tech gets cheaper, I would love to play it. My PC can't handle VR though, so I'd need to get a new computer too... My friends have been really enjoying it though, and from the gameplay I've watched it looks super cool and a VR pioneer.

If i had the money i would buy it in an instant. Valve sure knows how to sell their hardware

Not perfect, but that should be expected for the biggest VR game we've ever had. The story to the game is absolutely incredible, and the only problems that I find with the game, is stuff like weird movement, or tracking not always being accurate, but thats more of a lack of technology rather than a lack of game design. I'm sure these issues will be ironed out in the future. Incredible game, without a doubt. (also don't bother playing the game with mouse + keyboard, it plays like shit)

Half-Life Alyx was the first Source 2 Half-Life game, Its amazing, So many little details make the game feel so unique and explorable. It's a great game in my opinion.
