Doesn't hurt at all to watch pro streams or gameplay as well. See the things they do in situations that occur while playing just to build a better game sense.

Start playing with awareness rather than playing like a zombie not realizing what is happening.
Understand first of all how mouse sensitivity works.
Understand the science behind it and know the difference between arm movement and wrist movement.
Learn more in-depth the truth about DPI and mouse sensor. You will learn a lot of brands are just talking blabla...bla

Then it is up to the experience. 2 Key factors determine a player.

Map Knowledge and Game Sense.

A player who played 4000 games will know due to past matches which options there are and what the enemy would logically do next.
Always try to put yourself in the position of the enemy and think how you would do it. After some time you will be quite spot on every now and then. <- BASICALLY the reason why flicks and random wallbangs happen which people callout as a cheater.
At the end you develop an instinct.

TL;DR: play. play. play. play. Be aware how you are playing. Always thrive for improvement. Play local tournaments. Get into the small competiive scene because competitive and casual are two different worlds.

I usually do aim maps, 1v1 with my duo just to practice movement and bhoping (deags only not spray fire). The best way to get better is just by playing over and over again. This is one of those games that you can actually learn a lot from watching pro players. Callouts, pixel angles, etc. The rest is putting it to practice. That's just my take on it. I'm not great at CS but, being a competitive R6 player has helped a little. Movement is just completely different.
