What arethe major risks and challenges of bitcoin mining, if any,or is it just all profits once setup.

mining is generally useless for average people since you'll basically be fighting against warehouses of miners, even with a few machines. i would honestly suggest either go for a different crypto and trade that up / sell it when it rises in price, or ditch mining altogether and use those funds to actually buy / sell crypto yourself. going to mine straight for BTC though sounds high riskto me though tbh

Bitcoin mining is not just profits. It's an investment, kind of like gambling, if it's value drops you pretty much loose money you've invested. Also you need like a really good computer, that's probably an understatement.

Bitcoin Mining is cool, but it is still not good in Corona Times...
the bitcoins are less ... how should I say ... okay, you know it very well!

Is it still relevant in term of mining bitcoin ? I mine bitcon on 2017 using gtx1060.

if you have cheap electricity by all mean, but i would recommended you to invest in coin instead of mining

I'd say from what I've seen/read, it really isn't that profitable unless you've got an entire (possibly) million dollar mining rig.
