So a mate of mine invited me to a Bitcoin esque app called Pi, lets you mine off your phone.
Actually its not even mining in the traditional sense, the way it seems to work is that every day you have to log into the app, and it will accrue a certain
amount of the currancy (which itself is based off multiple factors.) after a certain number of people join the network, the rate of earning drops... and it does this
exponentially. therefore, its best to start mining early.
to me the whole thing seems barely above board... the currancy at this stage has no value, as you cant even use it for anything... that being said I seem to remember bitcoin being useless when it first started.
Thoughts? you think I am wasting my time with it or no?
In my opinion, this is fake money and currency, it has absolutely nothing under it, it can evaporate tomorrow without leaving a trace, please do not waste your time, now there are many other tools that would, for example, make real money in US dollar :cool:
