Do you mean why have the oil prices gone down? the problem was the oil war that was going on between saudi arabia and i believe the other one was russia but that ended and i think the prices still going down so im still confused on the subject but thats what i know

It's because regardless of the shutdown oil companies are still producing oil nonstop and with the current world wide reduced usage of oil. oil companies are now running out of space to store them in their own facilities and is currently pretty much paying people to take it.
