Love tokyo mainly for the different atmospheres in the different districts. But i didnt expect to drop several grand over a couple weeks, so be prepared to spend if you want to go there.

Been to Tokyo more then a dozen times. Mid Summer is not really the perfect season as it usually rains a lot. I prefer it in spring and fall.

Glew through Narita and got stuck over night. Delta put us at the Radisson. It was like staying in a college dorm. Wish I had an actual layover.

A trip to Japan was prepared independently. We developed a route - in 10 days to visit 8 places (cities). Such a "Grand Tour of Japan." At work, we gathered a group of 8 people. Visas, hotels, 2 bus excursions (Tokyo and Kyoto) with a Russian guide for the whole day-booked through the travel agency "Sakkura-tour." Tours are very expensive, especially to other cities (140-240 dollars per person). A round-trip transfer (airport) was offered at $ 180 per person.
