Why is DarkRP so popular?

Never really liked that gamemode and dont know why it has always been this popular throughout the years.

I personally enjoy it because you meet some very strange people.. The minging on it is close to impossible to avoid though..

Because there are always some funny people. So I like it. lmao

I think its because if you find the right server its really enjoyable, until the mingy 12 year olds come around and see that the spacing between your fading doors is 1mm to small and get you banned.

because in darkrp,there are many ways to have fun while having a certain rp behind it.

The main reason i love it is its not a serious RP. Yes you can have a serious RP situation but you can also minge around and not get into trouble for doing dumb shit like kill your friend in a knife fight or walk around being just a general toxic person. The community around DarkRP is a special community full of people from toxic to kind AF bros that just want to sell you a gun or 2.

I've yet to find any serious RP in a DarkRP server. I've personally always preferred PERP 3 but it seems that Hellzoneclan has died off, and I haven't played in forever, so I'm not fluent with what's good right now, Just dabble here and there.

Personally, I like darkrp, there's always something funny going on and if that's really playing, it's because a lot of kids play it.

It's everything that we could've ever wanted in GTA Online, but in a game where it actually all works for the most part
