Do you think hackers are stupid?

Competitive is a very slipper slope when it comes to that as us humans desire validation in some form. Given that competition leads to some enjoyment, others take enjoyment either form having the edge and recognition to ruining it to others. Hackers... are sometimes more ingenious since some are probably the pioneers of the tools they provide (to the stupid), though the majority are quite stupid.

I don't think hackers are necessarily stupid but they do ruin the game for everyone

No some are very smart and can get away with many malicious things dude so you gotta be careful if you encounter one.
