Will csgo ever die?

The community seems booming, i love the game myself but do you think it will ever die?

No unless valve stops doing updates again but the growing competition is forcing them to step up their game

It might, but that would take a lot more time. CSGO is so simplistic in comparison to some of the other games that it's always reliable to come back to and play a couple rounds, additionally esports is definitely keeping it up as well.
The only way I could see it die in the future is if Valve decided to make a successor. Which they probably won't in the foreseeable future.

All games will eventually die but csgo won't die anytime soon, especially since it's now free to play

I think that CS isnt going to die soon.. just take the fact that Valve is working active on the game with a record amount of players for now, for such a old game ..

Yes eventually people move onto new things sooner or later and nothing lasts forever even if it lasts for a very long time.

I doubt csgo is dying anytime soon just like most games. the good thing about csgo is it has community run servers keeping the game alive. Just look at cs source and tf2 for example. valve have completely moved on from those games but they still have a playerbase
