It's not dead but I definitely think it's dying. Market is super saturated at this point but they'll keep pumping out games. I think the genre is likely here for good.
It probably isn't dead, but the craze has died down. Now its just a genre of game instead of the hit new fad that hast to be stapled onto any new release.
