I think mining is not completely dead, but for individuals who would want to get into it, it's very hard to.

no it's not dead there are still coins to mine and other cryptos but truth be told you need massive resources and computational power

Bitcoin mining is because to actually make money from it you would need a large pool of miners. Using a smaller cypto currency is better because you have a better chance of guessing the right hash.

Unless you can get access to cheap electricity, forget it. Also , you'll need to replace all of your hardware every 6 months, as itll be out of date.

Better to just invest.

on a individual level. it is.
you need a pretty expensive "miner" and the outcome might not cover your electric bill

Mining is only valuable for individual players, if you have a free electricity, or if it costs almost nothing. In this case you can really try to deal with this

it's not dead i still have a buddy that does it just need to get you the right equipment bud
