Best beginner champion?

Ashe or Master Yi are very easy champions to pick up, or if you want a mage I would say Annie!

Teemo is pretty easy to master if you like top, when you want to go jungle, master yi will be your best pick

So I really don't think League is as toxic as people say. If you have played any online competitive game you have pretty much been exposed to the toxic nature of an anonymous person who feels they are gaining or losing something vital by winning or losing a video game.
I always found Tristana super easy to learn and use

Thats a hard question, because you should play what makes you fun, but I have some tips
1. Pick a champ that seems fun to you
2. Pick a champ that fits the position you are playing
3. Pick a champ that is easy ( not many skills shots)
4. Pick a champ that is not yasuo

Galio is very good champion for new players. Nobody ban him and he is strong.

I think Master Yi is a very good champion for beginners, very simple to use but hard to master
