how old are you when you first watch anime

I started watching anime when I was around 10 years old, but at that time I just refered to it as a cartoon. I got heavily into it when I was about 16 or 17 in highschool. Fell in love the the different artstyles and studios!

Way too early to even remember, my mom watched anime with me on adult swim when I was really young, I would say this was before preschool.

I watch anime all the time my guy pokemon is the best animie :DDDDDDD

In 9 years I already knew shto such anime, Ah and at all I only naruto learned in childhood

I was about 10 or so when I first saw Japanese anime it left quite the impression on me turned me into an artist

I was about 8 or 9 when I first say dbz, but initial d was the 1st anime I watched start to finish.

I watched quite a bit when I was a kid probably around 7.. didn't watch any during my teenage years and now I'm back to binge watching because of quarantine and I'm 27 haha

My friend showed me Naruto when I was 9! I loved it instantly and got really engrossed in Inuyasha and Ranma 1/2 too.

My (nerd) parents had VHS and Laser Discs of anime so basically from the womb, haha. Mum was just telling me about how I'd started Akira when I was very very small and I was kind of taken aback since I have no recollection of it. I remember really enjoying Pokemon, Digimon, Cardcaptors and Yu-Gi-Oh when they were on KidsWB. I started to develop my own taste in anime when I was maybe 9 and stuff like Outlaw Star was on Toonami and I eventually picked up some copies of the Sailor Moon manga when it was published by Chix! Comics. Manga and Anime have been a constant factor in my life since I was born so it's always been strange when I encounter people who have no idea about it or haven''t watched any, especially now that it's gotten so mainstream or at least, to my eyes, more acceptable in the mainstream.

I'm pretty sure I was in like kindergarten when I got into Pokemon, so I was like 4 or 5
