What do you think about the George Floyd incident?

I personally think such incidents really show how evil some humans beings can be to others.

What do you think about it?

Ah weird that no one commented on this post, here is what i think..

In my country we teach our childiren this; if you are in scary situation or someone evil is trying to attack you etc you go to police, they are the good guys, they are angels in blue..

But being a police is hard, you face life threatining events a lot, it changes people, they are doing what they must to protect people, i respect cops for this.

But then there is another part of this whole issue, there are people who are psychos that want to harm people, some of them are becoming police and then they are able to get away with things they do..

To fix the issue i would say we need educated police officers and they should investigate the psylogical background of every cop for sure.

I also respect the work of Police officers, its really important what they do.

Taking Care of People in crazy situations is really hard on a daily basis i think.

But i also have the opinion that you shouldnt to that work if you cant handle the stress you are exposed daily.

He shouldn't have been killed. I think everyone can agree on that.

The cop was definitely power tripping, as I'm sure many do in some instances. However, I think it's impossible to understand what cops go through in their careers and try to add our own two cents to it.

It's like a regular civilian trying to add his two cents into why a pilot made an error that he made. If you have no experience, and can't empathize with a person before you critique them, then don't say anything at all.

The cop was in the wrong however, we all know that.

I think it's a tragedy and that that policeman should pay for what he did but I also don't get all these protests going on. They are pointless because they don't have a concrete political or social aim and half of the people who march in the streets,screaming random sloganswith colored signs don't even know what they are doing. The proof of that is in the fact that you can see dozens of protests on TV or Internetwhere nobody wears a fucking facemask. They like to feel like civil rights heroes but they don't even care about all this COVID situation which is devasting their country.

Agree with the rest, cop was out of line. I also understand the demand of the community to reform police practices and make them less of a threat to communities, but cops are trained to use force since that is what they will be facing in everyday situations. It's just the nature of the job. To make cops into pacifists is going against thir purpose and will never happen in us society.

Exactly, I think its horrific and it's horrible that similar things are taking placeacross the country.

it was indeed sad to watch, i think us goverment should have a clearer look on police officers mental background, some people are just too extremist to be police officers
