What anime would you recommend on netflix?

It also really depends on what kind of movies/shows you normally like. Some of the suggestions here like Sword Art Online are good for people who like fantasy, action, and drama, but there are also the sports anime, horror, etc. basically something for everyone. Easier to recommend anime if we know what you like already.

Definitely seconding Haikyuu. Carole and Tuesday was good, Fullmetal Alchemist is a classic along with Naruto and HunterXHunter, more shounen/boy oriented titles. If you don't mind the cute style Aggeretsuko is really funny. I've been meaning to watch A Whisker Away. The trailer for the movie looked pretty good.

I just finished Japan Sinks 2020. I thought it was worth a watch, very bingeable.

A Whisker Away is great, though the pacing might feel weird. Devilman Crybaby is beautiful, and Aggretsuko too. If you're not very familiar with anime though, a good starting point would probably be one of the fantasy series mentioned above. Fullmetal Alchemist is definitely a classic.

Hunter x Hunter!! A little slow in the beginning but once you get through the first few episodes I think its worthwhile for the plot and character development!

havent seen the final season (if its the final idk havent checked) yet but heard it was pretty bad with the visuals

No game no life, one piece and beastar. They are a really good cross section of anime. No game no life is a *transported to another world* type anime which is very game based. One piece is a long running show where you follow characters as they get more and more over powered, think dragonball Z but pirates. Beastar is a more psychological thriller with slice of life high school vibes.

Just saying Beastars is one of my favorites but definitely has a Darker Zootopia feel to it.
Angel Beats is pretty good also.
Also absolutely love Death Note (Anime NOT the movie)

Kakegurui! It's a gambling anime. There are also tons of great anime-style movies on Netflix like The Garden of Words.

Yuri on ice is very hyped but really is worth it. Season 2 coming soon
