When do you think Neuralink etc will appear for public?

Like brain linked tech, sci-fi stuff. Elon musks company nuralink is one of the ones trying to do that. How long will it take?

Well Elon is already talking about human trials for it so probably within this next decade, ngl sounds kinda fucked tho i would not want to be hooked up to a computer.

I think development has a long way to go for it to be used in an actual everyday setting. It's still limited in terms of depth and it barely passed the hardware development stage. I think realistically it could take minimum of a year or more to develop specfic use cases for the implant, especially considering it matters a lot where you actually place it on the skull.
