Mine was about 2500~2800$ (at that time).
was my first major build ever and I am still rocking it 3 years later. Didn't think it would last that long but so far the progress is slowed down with new gaming hardware.

I got Ryzen 7, gtx1660ti rog strix, 16gb ram, 500gb m.2 ssd , rog strix board for $1500

Around $1500 dollars. Feels a lot more expensive here though.

My main laptop is an alienware 17 which my previous company bought for ~$3000

My main desktop is my own build that is a mid-tier gaming, and high-tier development machine that ran me approx. $1800

My first pc costed me around 1000 euros, and was the beast. I have bought it around 2005., and was using it for 6 years with no problems. After this one, I have bough the one which I'm currently using. I have spent around 700 euros on it. But, since I'm always changing parts of my pc, and upgrading it, I guess costs are a lot more.
