is Sword art online good anime?

Hi, i want to watch sword art online but i dont know should i watch this anime?

SAO gets a lot of shit for being poorly designed and stuff like that but I think it's an extremely enjoyable anime that is worth the time investment. If you continue watching all the way until the newer seasons, the Alicization arcs are totally worth making it to!

Aincrad arc is amazing, Alfheim arc is okay in the first half and a bit cringey in the second, SAO2 (GunGale arc) is very cringe but when they bring it into Alicization arc it really does go back to being amazing. Focusing on story.

Yes and the movie is good too. I need episodes to drop faster for the newest season.

I only liked the first 12 episodes then dropped it cause it got bad im not sure how good the new seasons are tho

Honestly, I couldn't really get into it though I can't say it's bad, just guess it is not exactly my style. It's all about preferences, you could give it a go.

I think it is a good anime, but og course it isnt rally perfect, all animes had mistakes in the story that make them worst but we all know that its hard avoid the filling without real action, and this is the problem of SAO, sometimes they used so really filling without any special or interesting

Its a weird anime but still enjoyable other than the fairy arc crap

it as a hit and miss some episodes were alright but others just didnt have the same vibe to them in my opinion idk its upto you i guess just see how it goes and read some other suggestions i know what i have said is pretty pointless but i just though i would share my opinion its 50/50
