Literally just started playing Valorant, what are some tips for new players other than the classic, learn the maps/practice aim.

I would suggest trying out all the guns in practice mode. They all have a different rate of fire and recoil. Learning the maps and character abilities will come with time playing regular games. There aren't a lot of maps and characters right now which will make it pretty easy to catch up. It's one of those games you just learn through playing, so get in there and have fun!

If you played FPS games before you should be fine. It is very similar to CS:GO, except feels a little easier..

Tip #1: Walk, don't run.
Tip #2: Don't run and shoot.
Tip #3: Know when to save your Creds.
Tip #4: Buy armor.
Tip #5: Keep your reticle at head height.

If you've played games like CS you already have a basic gist if not:

1. Walk - I can't stress this enough but I see a lot of new players stressing themselves out and not being able to hit an enemy because they're running & gunning
2. Crosshair placement - always try to place your crosshair head level or body level when moving so you just click and pop goes the enemy
3. Be mindful of angles and always check angles you're teammates aren't checking - Never check the same angles as that just means an enemy can pop out and kill 1 or even all of you

1. Learn Crosshair Placement
2. Dont run always, Learn to walk sometime.
3. Play deathmatch before you start playing.

- always keep your crosshair at head level
- always press shift to walk when checking corners
- learn to play at least 3 different Agents
- keep practicing in Deathmatch mode and Spike Rush mode.
